Overview

This is an online course which aims to improve the level of business writing in English in different genres (letter, email etc) specifically around the language of travel and tourism.

The objectives of this course are :

  •        to become more effective in conveying messages to clients in written format
  •        to build confidence when using the English language in business writing
  •        to become more fluent and accurate in the use of English for business writing purposes
  •        to become more aware of the mechanics of business writing including awareness of the style, tone and register, the language used, the structure of a piece of writing

The online course will aim to develop the level of business writing mainly through emails in English specifically around the language of tourism, travel and the hospitality sector. The course will run virtually in groups.  Our experienced trainers will interactively provide interesting and realistic case studies and practice scenarios for effective writing in English within the Hospitality Industry.

In addition, all participants will have access to our value-added e-Learning online programme which will be available throughout the course and for 6 months after the virtual course.

Course Content

Trainer  will produce interesting and relevant task-based practice activities with writing scenarios and cases for each scenario including:

-Formal Email Writing

-Informal Email Writing

-Dealing with Complaints

-Emails for sales and promotion

Participants will be asked to carry out homework with all scenarios which will all be corrected both a group interactive sessions as well as corrected individually.
